My brother, dad and I stopped in this afternoon for late lunch, it was our first time. We loved it! We sampled brisket, ribs, pulled pork, sausage, cream corn and mustard potato salad. The meat fell off the rib, the brisket was juicy and the bark was delicious! The sausage is spicy but great tasting. The pulled pork was flavorful as well. We will definitely come back, it is outdoor seating only and there isn’t a public restroom so be prepared. It is BYOB and they do have T.V’s outside to catch a game. Update! I was in the area again and had been craving their bbq. They do have restrooms inside. 2nd time here the food is DELICIOUS! We got brisket, ribs and sausage link. Definitely will be back again!

Come Here!!! How in the heck did I miss this place. Diamond in the rough. Don’t let the exterior of the building fool you. Ribs are to die for, brisket is flavorful and tasty. Corn is like something from a street cart!! Mustard potato salad needed something else wasn’t quite there and tortillas were cold but it won’t stop me from coming back. Definitely coming back. Military gets 10% off.

The brisket was phenomenal! It did not need any sauce and was perfectly cooked and seasoned. I was with a group of 8 and everyone was raving about their food. You cannot go in anywhere, you order at a little window on the side of the door and sit outside. They do have cover with fans and the we got lucky with great weather! They sell out of things daily, highly recommend!

Wow this place is good. The brisket was the fatty kind but that's a good thing. We got a pound and a half and it was a lot! We also got a pound of pork ribs. (My favorite) they were meaty and peppery. The meat didn't really need sauce but bbq sauce makes everything better. We also tried the tater tot casserole which is great and the corn was really good too. I think the potato salad was a bit dry but my girlfriend liked it. We also got the banana pudding and oatmeal cookie. Both were great.

You order at a window and then they call your name. Only outside dining was available at the time I went. They do have a TV with sports. Got the sliced brisket with German potato salad and cream corn. My order also came with homemade tortillas, pickles, onions, and BBQ sauce. Everything was delicious and I enjoyed sitting on a shaded picnic table outside with a calm breeze watching sports while eating tasty brisket tacos.

Wonderful food and service. Went on a long bike ride, and decided to ride over to South BBQ. It was a very hot day, and the employee happily refilled my water bottle. Then, when my food came out, he also gave me some pickle juice without me asking! Thought it was very kind and a nuclear gesture. Then the food was absolutely delicious. The brisket and ribs we do tinder and perfectly cooked. Can’t wait to go back for more!

Overall, pretty good spot. Hole in the wall feel, with small and simple menu, but very delicious. It is pricey, especially for the brisket, but unfortunately it’s not much different than elsewhere. The pulled pork tacos were very good! They had plenty of meat, which was juicy and tender. The tortillas are made fresh in house, and you can taste the difference. They were topped with cheese and a great sauce. The quarter chicken was really good, especially for only 3,50. Simple but done great. Overall, a great local BBQ with great offerings. I’ll come back one day for the brisket and see if it lives up to the price.

We finally had a chance to eat here and it was great! We had the brisket sandwich with chips. The meat was very tender and juicy. The potato was excellent as well. The meat doesn’t need bbq sauce but they give you some and that is great as well! We will be back again! We have to make sure to come before they sell out. It’s a great place to come after a bike ride or round of golf at Riverside course.
